Landesturnfest Ulm 2016

Gymnastic festival of the German Republic Baden-Württemberg is traditionally held every two years.
City of Ulm had the honor to host this prestigious event from 28 to 31 July 2016.
The call to create a delegation to represent Serbia at this festival came in June 2015 during a visit to Serbia, led by Mr. Gerhard Semler, Head of delegation and Head of the Department for Education and Sport, Ulm City Government, with Mr. Reinhold Eichhorn, President of the Gymnastics Association of Ulm, and Mr. Christian Beine, Officer in the Department for Education and Sport, Ulm City Government and General Manager, Landesturnfest Ulm 2016. The meeting in Belgrade was attended by representatives of Serbian Sports Association, Association Sport for All, Gymnastics Federation of Serbia and others.
In June 2016, the management of the festival decided to invite the Sports Club Gaudium NS+ from Novi Sad, to represent Serbia at the Opening Ceremony, as well as to take part in the competition program of Baden-Württemberg Championships in Aerobic Gymnastics.
The delegation consisted of athletes Ivana Brzak, Tijana Rudek, Ana Stojsic, Nikolina Gasic and Masa Cabarkapa, coaches Larisa Porobic and Radomir Radulovic, representatives of the Sports Association of Serbia Dane Korica and Velizar Djeric and a representative of the Gymnastics Federation of Serbia Geza Mikes.
There was a loudly applauded appearance at the Opening Ceremony as well as at the presentation of Aerobic Gymnastics in the hall of the Ulm Fair, and successful competition where Ivana Brzak took bronze and Tijana Rudek ended up fifth. Representatives of our delegation, Dane Korica and Velizar Djeric, took part in the Award Ceremony.
Representatives of the city administration and gymnastics organizations of Baden-Württemberg and the city of Ulm prepared a special reception, lunch and charming gifts for our delegation.
At a reception in the City Hall of the city of Ulm and other meetings, discussions were held and concrete actions for further cooperation agreed.

Aerobic Gymnastics Championships Vojvodina 2011 was held in all categories according to the rules and regulations of Gymnastics Federation of Serbia and Aerobic Gymnastics Code of Points 2009/2012 (FIG).
Participation was allowed to Clubs that are members of
Gymnastics Federation of Serbia.
The majority of competitors were from our Club, and the results showed our leading position in this gymnastic discipline in Vojvodina and Serbia.

Report from the Competition in Germany
Gymnastics Federation of Serbia and Vojvodina has shown that Gymnastics in Novi Sad, Vojvodina and Serbia keep track with the modern developmental trends of all gymnastic disciplines. Report from the competition in Eisenberg, along with the work with officials from both Federations on arriving at the best sollutions for all gymnastic disciplines, represent another reward for our activities in Aerobic Gymnastics, a sign of succesful cooperation and proper direction for further development of all gymnastic disciplines in Serbia, recognized by International Gymnastics Federation (FIG).
